Marc says, "I decided to trudge out of bed at 4:30 this morning to go to the airport and take my old gal up to watch the very first sunrise of the new decade of the 21st century. My wife and kids were still visiting my mother-in-law back East so I had the rare combination of time and opportunity. Here is a wide-angle shot of my view from the cockpit of my GL, watching the sun come over over the calm waters of Lake Mathews, near Riverside, CA.
