Hello Fellow Great Lakers,

Winter must end sometime....and we need to have a 2010 fly-in!
An Oklahoma City airport has tentatively agreed to allow the use of its facilities.

But a successful fly-in needs people and airplanes. To help me plan, please do the following: advise me if you are interested in attending, and if so, what weekend (Friday through Sunday) would be best for you. What kind of organized activities would you like to have available? Do you have previous experience sponsoring a fly-in? Would you be interested in volunteering if needed?

Summertime in OKC will be hot and windy, so mid June through mid September is probably not a good idea. A late September weekend would allow viewing of Fall colors, and might be the best time.

If you think OKC is too far to fly your 'Lakes, consider riding the airlines. You do not have to fly your 'Lakes to the fly-in, but you will need to bring pictures.

Let me have your thoughts, and fly safe!
